Engineering College, Ajmer established in the year 1997, is a renowned educational institution located in Ajmer, Rajasthan. It provides a wide range of Degree programs, including 8 UG and 13 PG options. The campus is constructed with several blocks which include the Main Building which houses the administrative block, the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology and the Department of Masters in Computer Application. The New Building has the Department of Applied Sciences and Humanities, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering and Department of Management Studies. Civil cum Electrical block dedicated to Civil and Electrical branch. Apart from it, Central Library, Mechanical Workshop, Guest House and Girls’ Hostel are also available. There is no hostel for boys and girls (General/OBC) but a 50-seated hostel is available for girls belonging to the SC/ST category. The average placement package is around 3.5 lac/year[1] and the actual placement rate is about 10% to 25% in recent years.

Government Engineering College Ajmer has conducted many fests from time to time. It has many clubs like dance clubs, sports clubs, cyber clubs, workshop clubs and many more that guide all the students of the fest in a timely.

The placement record of Govt. Engineering College Ajmer is good. In the last second year 2022, the highest placement package was 15 LPA from the Computer Science engineer department and many students have received approximately 10 LPA packages from their branch. The average package of this college is around 5.56 LPA. Mechanical branch students have many more placements than other students. Last year 2023, The highest placement package was 9 LPA. Many of the students got an 8-9 LPA package in the CS branch. Many of the students have got internships in their fields. Many of the students of the civil engineering department have got government jobs since last year 2023.
