Zeal College Of Engineering and Research Fest Experience (Udaan)

Every every my college Zeal College of Engineering and Research Pune, organizes the annual fest named Udaan. This year it was UDAAN-2k23. It consists of Dance, Singing, Comedy Act, Mimicry, Drama, and whatever you want to show to the audience, after the acceptance of the audition team.

There were some friends of mine who participated in the anchoring team, and they did their role effectively and because of that, it helped my friends to get the confidence for stage. I was just an attendee for this whole festival. This was 4-5 days long. Because my college contains the ITI, Engineering, MBA, MCA and Diploma. So this festival was distributed according to the stream. For engineering there were 2 days allocated, and whatever the participant from Engineering should perform their act in these two days. The good thing is that we can attend the whole festival no matter which stream turn is there for the performance.

For the 5 days of the UDAAN-2k23 festival, there was a different guest for different days. Sometimes there was a Film Industrial person, sometimes it was a High Post Police Officer. These guests see only one, or two acts of the students and they go to their next plan. This special guest was introduced by my friend who was an anchor for the festival.

This festival was held on my college grounds with a high lighting setup because it starts at 6.00 in the evening and up to 9.00 at night. For performers, there was a big stage and for an audience, there was a chair and for special guests, at the front of the stage, there was a big sofa for them arranged. Some of my friends never sit on chairs they just stand behind the all chairs and dance with performers on the ground.

Some of the act from my college was awarded a special trophy from Pune. The same act was done at this festival by my colleagues. These colleagues practice that acts too many times in the college and in the whole of Pune, as an act they sell tickets to see their act.

Conclusion:

Likewise, my friends are able to sell tickets to see their act, drama means this type of festival helps to grow as cultural and creative. So we need to take part in these type of fest held by our college.

Overall, the experience of this UDAAN-2K23 was memorable. I made too many friends in this fest and enjoy these 5 days of festival, and with this I thought to participate next year in this festival to showcase my skills and talent.
