EXL Services Interview Experience 2022

EXL services are the world’s top leading company in analytics, with a mindful crowd of people all over the world including IITs, IIM, and tier-3 colleges. A company with amazing work culture and policies expanded over more than 58 countries in the world.

EXL services came into our college for virtual on-campus recruitment at the month end of August 2022. The process held for about 15 days in the following three stages:

Round-1:Written MCQ-based test(40 questions in 45 minutes): This test consisted of questions from aptitude, logical, verbal, computer science fundamentals, and pseudo codes conducted on co-cubes platform. This test consisted of questions of 1 mark and also a negative marking of 0.25. In this test, 31 students were selected out of 210.

(Round-2) Technical interview(35 minutes): We got our results after 3-4 days. Later after a week, our interview was scheduled on Microsoft teams. The interviewer was very cool and friendly. In this round, 18 students were shortlisted out of 31. She asked the following questions –

1. Tell me about yourself.
2. About the project.
3. what difficulties did I face while working on a project?
4. Fundamental questions on SQL.
5. Write a query to find the maximum salary in each department.
6. Difference between drop, delete, and truncate commands?
7. Write a code for finding a minimum occurrence of a character in a string.

9. Any questions for the interviewer?

Round-3:Technical/HR interview(15 minutes): We had this round on the same day. For my friends, this round was both technical and HR but for me, it was just HR. He asked the following questions –

1. He introduced himself.
2. Tell me about yourself.
3. Are you a team working person or an individual working person?
4. Any incident in which you face some difficulty while dealing with your team members?
5. Why do you want to join EXL services?
6. Any questions for the interviewer?

This was the last round, and we got our results the very next day. Finally, 9 students get selected, and fortunately, I’m one of them. Thank you gfg!!

Tips: Prepare well for written tests majorly aptitude, and as per my experience interview was much easy to clear.
