Fractal Analytics is an AI-based company, and this is an intern role. I had the following rounds for this company:

Round 1: Online Test

  • It was an online test with 4 sections: Data Analysis, Quantitative Ability, Reasoning, and Verbal. It consisted of 70 questions and we had to complete it in 75 minutes.

Round 2: Online Test

  • It was a coding round with 8 questions (4 Python/R and 4 SQL-related). It was a 90-minute test. All the questions were easy/medium level and do not have much weightage on the shortlisting. Round I is more important.

After shortlisting, there were two interview rounds, each being an elimination round. Around 25 students were selected for the interview rounds.

Technical Round: Interview

  • The round consisted of a brief introduction and project-related questions from my resume.

HR Round: Interview

  • The round started with a brief introduction. After that, there were questions like ‘Why do you want to join Fractal?’, ‘What are your expectations from the company?’  I felt that they mainly judged confidence and genuineness.

This was all. They declared results post all the rounds; a total of 6 students was selected and fortunately, I was one of them.

Preparation Strategy: I would suggest practicing sufficient Quant questions for speed and accuracy, and be thorough with your Resume. This was all I did! Additionally, if you have prior knowledge of Python and SQL, it would definitely be an advantage.
