WordPress is an open-source Content Management System that is totally based on PHP and MySQL and is used to create a dynamic website. It was developed by Matt Mullenweg and written in PHP. WordPress is one of the most popular that allows customizing and managing the website from its back-end content management system.

By changing the color scheme of WordPress, you can make the WordPress dashboard look different and more attractive. You can create custom and different color schemes for different users for your WordPress website. 

The default color scheme for the admin dashboard is dark, but you can switch to a different color scheme as per your choice by following the few steps. 

In this article, let us see how to change the admin color scheme in WordPress.

Changing the admin color scheme in WordPress:

Step 1: Firstly login to your WordPress dashboard.

 

Step 2: After login into the WordPress dashboard, hover over the “Users” section and then click on “All Users”.

 

Step 3: Choose the user for which you want to change the color scheme and then click on the “edit”. We have only the admin user, so we are going to change the color scheme for the admin dashboard. You can change the color scheme for another user also.

 

Step 4: Now you can choose the different color schemes as per your choice from the different color schemes available.

 

This is how you can change the color scheme for the admin dashboard or for other users on the WordPress website.

Step 5: After choosing the color scheme, scroll down and then click on the “Update Profile” button.
