Steam is a digital game Launcher in which we can buy games and play them. It is available for different operating systems like Windows,  macOS, Linux, iOS, Android, etc. It is adware and is built in C++ programming languages. The development credit goes to Valve Corporation.  It is available in 28 languages.  It is first launched in 2003. Now we see how to install Steam on Windows.

Follow the below steps to install Steam on Windows:

Step 1: Visit the official website using any web browser.

Step 4: Now find the executable file in downloads in your system and run it.

Step 8: The next window will be for choosing installing location, so choose the drive which will have sufficient memory space for installation. It required roughly 446.5 MB of memory space. Now click on the Install button.

Step 9: After this installation process will start and it might take 2-5 minutes depending on your computer speed and specification to complete the installation.

Step 11: After that software downloads its update, it will depend on your internet speed.

Step 12: Now the software will open now you can log in by creating an account on Steam.

At this point, Steam is successfully installed on the system and an icon is created on the desktop.
