The noshowpos() method of stream manipulators in C++ is used to clear the showbase format flag for the specified str stream. This flag displays the non negative integer values without their + sign.

Syntax:

ios_base& noshowpos (ios_base& str)

Parameters: This method accepts str as a parameter which is the stream for which the format flag is to be cleared.

Return Value: This method returns the stream str with noshowpos format flag set.

Example 1:

// C++ code to demonstrate
// the working of noshowpos() function

#include <iostream>

using namespace std;

int main()
{

    // Initializing the integers
    int a = 10;
    int b = 0;

    // Using noshowpos()
    cout << "noshowpos flag: "
         << noshowpos
         << a << endl
         << b << endl;

    return 0;
}

Output:

noshowpos flag: 10
0

Example 2:

// C++ code to demonstrate
// the working of noshowpos() function

#include <iostream>

using namespace std;

int main()
{

    // Initializing the integers
    int a = -10;

    // Using noshowpos()
    cout << "noshowpos flag: "
         << noshowpos
         << a << endl;

    return 0;
}

Output:

noshowpos flag: -10
