jQWidgets jqxInput searchMode Property

jQWidgets is a JavaScript framework for making web-based applications for PC and mobile devices. It is a very powerful, optimized, platform-independent, and widely supported framework. The jqxInput is used to represent a jQuery input widget that contains auto-complete features

The searchMode property is used to set or return the search mode. This property is used when a user types into the input text and tries to find the searched item using the entered text and the selected search mode. It accepts String type value and its default value is ‘default’.

The possible values of searchMode property are as follows.

  • ‘none’
  • ‘contains’
  • ‘containsignorecase’
  • ‘equals’
  • ‘equalsignorecase’
  • ‘startswithignorecase’
  • ‘startswith’
  • ‘endswithignorecase’
  • ‘endswith’

 

Syntax:

Set the searchMode property.

$('selector').jqxInput({ searchMode: String });

Return the searchMode property.

var searchMode = $('selector').jqxInput('searchMode');
