Oracle Interview Experience for Application Developer (Off-Campus) Virtually

ROUND 1(Online assessment test): This is an objective test containing aptitude, logical reasoning, oops, OS, pseudo-code &  SQL sections, etc. Totally 60 questions are divided into these sections. Each section has a time limit.

ROUND 2(Technical Interview): After three days of taking the test this round happened. A lot of people were in the waiting room of zoom on this day. There were two interviewers.

• Tell me about yourself.
• Uses of data structures like a stack, queue, heap, graph, arrays, and trees in real-life applications.
• Difference between REST and SOAP API. 
• Asked about my work in my current company and many counter questions in my responses.

It lasted about 1.5hr.

ROUND3(Technical Interview): The interviewer was the senior director of oracle.

• Tell me about yourself.
• Discussion on my current work.
• My achievements and why I took mechanical engineering.
• Told me to design a webpage according to some requirements like making colors, and placing elements according to the layout. Basic knowledge of HTML, and CSS would help to answer this question.

It lasted about 1.5hr.

ROUND 4(Hiring Manager Interview): After about a week’s time hiring manager called me and asked if we can have a discussion.

• Tell me about yourself.
• Discussion on my current work.
• He explained what his team currently works on and the technologies they use. Asked me if this aligns with my interests.
• Asked about the salary expectations.
• This round was a breeze it took about 20mins.
