Oracle came to our college for on-campus hiring for batch 2023 in which they allow only CSE, IT, and ECE branch students and they are hiring for the role of associate consultant FTE.

There are 3 rounds for the selection process and every round are elimination round.

  • Written Round
  • Technical Round
  • HR Round

Round 1 Written Round (90 mins): This round is conducted on a hackerrank platform. there are 4 sections in which there are 2 coding questions, 1 REST API, 1 DBMS, and 5 MCQs (OS, Pseudocode, DBMS).

Difficulty: Easy to Medium

From 1200 students only 42 were selected for the interview round most of the students were eliminated based on rest API questions. So, at least try to solve 2 Coding & SQL or 1 Coding, SQL & REST API.

Round 2 (Technical Round): Firstly, the Interviewer ask me to introduce myself and then about my projects which I mentioned in my resume then she asked why you choose this project and from where get the idea to do this project I answered, and then she asked what are the algorithm’s you have used in your projects. then she asked some OOPs concepts like defining Polymorphism, Inheritance and then she gives me 3 coding questions and asks me to share my screen and code it. the first question is to reverse a string using different methods, the second one is a Binary search algorithm and the third one is from SQL to write a query to fetch the salary of employees who are working in a department where the of employees is greater than 3. I answered 2 coding questions but I am not able to 3rd one.

after this, she asks me if you have any questions can ask I ask about her experience in oracle. after this, she asked me to leave the meeting room and wait in the waiting room. then a second interview round is conducted.

Round 3 (HR Round): For some students, it is completely HR Round. But for me completely Technical round firstly interviewer ask me to introduce myself and then ask about my projects and what I learn more from these projects apart from my academics and what are resources I used to learn then he ask about API which I used in my project. Then he some Basics OOPs concepts, that’s all and then he asks if you have any questions for me.

Note: Be confident in every round of interviews and try to answer point to point for every question and be prepared for all things which you mentioned in your resume, especially projects.

Finally, 18 students were selected from our college.

Thank You. All The Best.
