Times Internet visited our campus for software development and mobile app development. I was interviewed for a software development profile. There was a total of 4 rounds. As this was taking place during the covid pandemic, therefore, all rounds were in online mode.

  • 1 Online
  • 2 Technical Rounds (Video Conferencing)
  • 1 HR (Telephonic)

Round 1 (Online Test): Platform was TechGig which is also owned by Times Internet. There were 20 MCQs and 1 coding question. Test duration was 60 Mins. MCQs were based on logical reasoning and aptitude. In the coding part, the question was based on the graph data structure, the difficulty level was between medium to hard.

Round 2 (Technical 1): Started with an introduction and discussions on projects which were mentioned in my resume. Basically, they want to know about the technologies which were used and how I implemented that. After that, they asked a coding question https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/perfect-sum-problem-print-subsets-given-sum/. I explained my approach then they want the pseudo-code.

After that, they asked a puzzle, https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/puzzle-18-torch-and-bridge/. Then they asked me about new technologies which I had heard.

Round 3 (Technical 2): This round also started with the introduction.  This round was a mix of technical and managerial. They asked me about my projects in-depth.  How I solved the problems encountered during the project. How will you manage the team? Then they asked me some situation based questions.

Round 4 (HR): The duration of this round was only 20-25 min. It was telephonic. As I received the call, HR introduced herself and started asking questions. She was asking many behavioral questions very fastly. (So be prepared in advance).

Question Asked:

  1. Introduce yourself
  2. Your 3 strength and 3 Weaknesses. (Reasons also)
  3. Why do you want to join?
  4. Different challenges that you faced during your stay at your college?
  5. Your five-year plan?
  6. What will you do if your team-mates are not doing their work? ……… Many more questions.

Tips: Be confident all the time. Hard work pays off.
