The size() method of AbstractSet in Java is used to get the size for this instance of the AbstractSet. It returns an integer value which is the size for this instance of the AbstractSet.
Syntax:
public int size()
Parameters: This function has no parameters.
Returns: The method returns an integer value which is the size for this instance of the AbstractSet.
Below examples illustrates the AbstractSet.size() method:
Example 1:
import java.util.*;
public class GFG {
public static void main(String[] args)
{
AbstractSet<Integer> arr
= new TreeSet<Integer>();
arr.add( 1 );
arr.add( 2 );
arr.add( 3 );
arr.add( 4 );
System.out.println( "AbstractSet: "
+ arr);
System.out.println( "Size: "
+ arr.size());
}
}
|
Output:
AbstractSet: [1, 2, 3, 4]
Size: 4
Example 2:
import java.util.*;
public class GFG {
public static void main(String[] args)
{
AbstractSet<String> arr
= new TreeSet<String>();
arr.add( "Geeks" );
arr.add( "For" );
arr.add( "ForGeeks" );
arr.add( "GeeksForGeeks" );
System.out.println( "AbstractSet: "
+ arr);
System.out.println( "Size: "
+ arr.size());
}
}
|
Output:
AbstractSet: [For, ForGeeks, Geeks, GeeksForGeeks]
Size: 4
