The Government of India launched the Pradhan Mantri Innovative Learning Program or”DHRUV” with the help of the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development.   • According to the Ministry, each student will receive a “PM Badge” and be referred to as a “DHRUV TARA.”
  • The 60 students will be split up into 6 groups (3 groups- 10 each for Science and Performing Arts). Every Science group must complete a project under the guidance of the professionals, and every Performing Arts group must choreograph a performance. Each group was given a set of global topics to research, such as terrorism, climate change, and pollution.
  • The students had the opportunity to interact with renowned scientists at IIT Delhi in addition to well-known filmmakers, directors, and the chairman of the Media & Entertainment Skills Council (MESC), Subhash Ghai, on October 14, 2019, soulful playback singer Mohit Chauhan on October 20, Sufi and Punjabi singer Hansraj Hans on October 21, and famous Indian percussionist Drums Sivamani on October 21.
  • Experts coached the science group’s students at the IIT Delhi campus, and renowned performers guided the performing arts group at the National Bal Bhavan.
