Parameters: This function accept two parameters as mentioned above and described below:
- $x_resolution: It is required parameter which specifies the x-axis resolution.
- $y_resolution: It is required parameter which specifies the y-axis resolution.
Return Value: This function returns the Gmagick object on success.
Below program illustrates the Gmagick::setimageresolution() function in PHP:
Program 1:
Original Image:
<?php
$gmagick = new Gmagick(
$res = $gmagick ->getImageResolution();
echo "X = " . $res [ 'x' ] . "</br>" ;
echo "Y = " . $res [ 'y' ] . "</br>" ;
$gmagick ->setimageresolution(50, 50);
echo "After Set Resolution: </br>" ;
$res = $gmagick ->getImageResolution();
echo "X = " . $res [ 'x' ] . "</br>" ;
echo "Y = " . $res [ 'y' ] . "</br>" ;
?>
|
Output:
X = 37.8
Y = 37.8
After Set Resolution:
X = 50
Y = 50
Program 2:
Original Image:
<?php
$string = "Computer Science portal for Geeks!" ;
$im = new Gmagick();
$draw = new GmagickDraw();
$draw ->setFillColor( new GmagickPixel( 'green' ));
$draw ->setFontSize(50);
$metrix = $im ->queryFontMetrics( $draw , $string );
$draw ->annotation(0, 40, $string );
$im ->newImage( $metrix [ 'textWidth' ], $metrix [ 'textHeight' ],
new GmagickPixel( 'white' ));
$im ->drawImage( $draw );
echo "Before: </br>" ;
$res = $im ->getImageResolution();
echo "X = " . $res [ 'x' ] . "</br>" ;
echo "Y = " . $res [ 'y' ] . " </br>" ;
$im ->setimageresolution(50, 50);
echo "After:</br> " ;
