TCS offers different packages for candidates as per their performance in TCS Campus Hiring Assessment. There are three profiles – TCS Digital Profile, TCS Ninja Profile, and TCS Smart Hiring(open for all as per my experience).

ROUND 1: TCS Campus Hiring Assessment: This round has two parts Foundation and Advance Section.

Mandatory Requirements Before Interview: A physical copy of valid government photos ID proof like an Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, and Driving License (soft copy of govt proof will not be considered).
Academic document (XTH, XIITH, Diploma, Graduation, and Post-Graduation semester mark sheets until the latest received in a single pdf file)

ROUND 2: Technical and Managerial Interview: In this round, you will get interview mail from TCS Campus Talent Acquisition Group as per your performance in the first round. Both Technical and Managerial Interviews take place in this round in this round. At first, they take a snapshot of your Govt. ID and College ID Card. 

Questions asked in this round: They ask basics of the programming language in which you are comfortable and some situation-based question. They can also ask questions related to HR rounds like are willing to reallocate, 

  • Introduce yourself
  • What are the features of java?
  • Difference between C++ and java.
  • What do you mean by robust?
  •  What are the features of Java 7?
  • What are method overloading and method overriding?
  • In method overloading and method overriding which one is thread-safe?
  • As java does not support multiple inheritances, how can we tackle this problem?
  • can you elaborate and try to catch and finally block?
  • What is the interface?

At last, they ask, Do you have any questions?

ROUND 3: HR Round: In this round, HR will take look at your academic records and ask basic questions about yourself. These questions were asked in the HR round.

  • Where are you from?
  • Where do you live?
  • Do you live in a hostel or PG?
  • How many siblings do you have?
  • Are younger or elder?
  • What project have you done?
  • Are you okay to reallocate? 
  • Why should we hire you?
  • Why do you want to join TCS?

After all these rounds they will communicate through your registered email ID and if you are shortlisted you will get an offer letter on the TCS NextStep portal.
